Donald Grava

Donald Grava brings a uniquely well-suited background to his position as President.  His experience combines investment banking expertise with practical knowledge of the inner-workings of corporations of all sizes.

Mr. Grava founded Versailles Group, Versailles Global’s affiliate, in 1987.  Prior to founding Versailles Group and Versailles Global, Mr. Grava was the former First Vice President of ELM Securities Inc., a New York-based investment banking firm, where he originated and successfully closed many domestic and international transactions.   Prior to ELM, Mr. Grava gained invaluable corporate finance experience while at Warburg Paribas Becker in New York City.  Prior to working on Wall Street, Mr. Grava honed his practical knowledge of corporate operations through strategic and financial planning roles at two different Fortune 200 companies.  Mr. Grava started his career at PwC where he gained hands-on
accounting experience.

Mr. Grava was the founder of VGL Global LLC, a FINRA (http://www.finra.org/) registered broker-dealer that he sold in 2018. This firm was renamed Aenigma Advisors LLC.

Mr. Grava is currently a Registered Representative with Ceros Financial Services (https://www.cerosfs.com/), a registered broker dealer.  Previously, he was affiliated with registered broker-dealers that were Members of FINRA (http://www.finra.org/) and the  SIPC (https://www.sipc.org/). These firms include:  Finalis, Inc., (https://www.finalis.com/) Rainmaker Securities, LLC (https://www.rainmakersecurities.com/) and Commonwealth Pharma Securities, LLC.

Mr. Grava holds the following Securities Licenses: SIE, 7, 14, 24, 27, 66, 79, and 99. These licenses are sanctioned by FINRA (http://www.finra.org/) (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Inc.).

Mr. Grava was a Founding Member and Executive Committee Member of the Boston Chapter of the Private Directors Association.  He also served as the Chapter's Treasurer.

Mr. Grava was on the Board of Directors of The Jebb Center for Autistic Adult Living, a 501(c)(3) organization devoted to providing safe and challenging living environments for adults with Autism.  He served in this capacity from 2013 to 2021.

Mr. Grava earned a B.A. in economics from Yale University and an M.B.A. from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business.  While at Yale, he was captain of the heavyweight crew and worked, part- time, for the Yale Alumni Magazine.
